I think I have an image where hotpixel correction doesn't work.

When I have it 'mark [the] fixed pixels', I can see that they are all
correctly found.

However, they just stay bright! What's more, when I turn on 'detect by 3
neighbours', the hot pixels turn red! This is only visible after I have
whitebalance active.

P.S.: on that note: I am on en en-US system (OS X 10.7.5). Shouldn't
that be ' 'detect by 3 neighbors', (no 'u', neighbours is UK english).
