I also reverted the downsampling back to 1.0 and now I do again see the
same preview processing times as earlier, i.e. some 1.5 to 1.7 sec.
(instead of some 0.3 to 0.5 sec with downsampling=0.4). Therefore I would
say that thumbnail size has far smaller effect than downsampling if any.
