There are any number of 'Photoshop-like' techniques that could of course 
be added to swell the already prodigiouslist of dt's available 
modules.My concern would be that some of these might spoil the current 
flavourof the program as a whole.

One can be assured currently that dt complies substantially with the 
requirements of photo-journalism (spot removal excepted); no brushwork 
and no trickery just simple digital style dodging and burning.

For those who need the 'special effects' for one or more of their 
images, Linux already provides several fine and more appropriate programs.
