Here's how i fixed the issue. I created a custom darktable.gtkrc in my
config dir where i tweak the scrollbars:
include "/usr/share/darktable/darktable.gtkrc"
# Make scrollbars more attractive
style "overlay-scrollbar-style"
{
GtkScrollbar::slider_width = 10
GtkScrollbar::has-forward-stepper = 0
GtkScrollbar::has-backward-stepper = 0
GtkScrollbar::stepper-size = 1
}
widget_class "*Scrollbar" style "overlay-scrollbar-style"
