Uhmm...  Don't know where you're getting "-NC" from.  This is what can
be read in doc/usermanual/darktable.xml:

    <para>
    The present user manual is under license <emphasis>cc by-sa </emphasis>,
    meaning <emphasis>Attribution Share Alike </emphasis>.
