Hi, just compiled the latest 1.4.1 tarball, and found that there is no "make uninstall" for the older versions.
There are two different versions on my computer, a very old 1.2 compiled with a prefix to my $HOME, and a somewhat newer 1.2.3 compiled into default dir. I tried to go into the source dirs and issue "make uninstall", but both had no such rule for make. Isn't it necessary? Can I just make install over the old one?
