I often apply a style to a group of 'basic' images prior to editing on an individual basis. Working on the lighttable I "discard" the base history and then apply my style. I would assume that the base history would be deleted but it appears that the applied style is simply added to the existing. I then need to compress the history in order to clean-up the true sequence.
