Just to answer your question: yes! E.g. in Soften and Color Zones. And these 
ones behave 'as expected' :-)

In fact as a superficial user I thought it all is basically the same and 
different words are just a matter of language:
- 'opacity' in blend operations, Watermark
- 'strength' in Velvia, Grain, Denoise, Bloom
- 'amount' in Sharpen
- and 'mix' in Equalizer

Maybe there is a better word than 'mix' to describe the temporary character of 
this slider or <dream> a completely different UI element for such adjustments 
</dream>?
