I've also seen this from time to time. For example when drawing a
circular mask and then resizing it using the mouse wheel, the outline
sometimes keeps jumping back and forth between the actual position and
another position as it is resized. It might happen with other figures
too, but I'm not sure.

Closing the module or changing of a "wrong" spot puts it to the
correct place.
you mean the spot outlines are drawn in the wrong place? or the spots
are copied from or to the wrong place?
