First of all thank you for your outstanding piece of software. I’ve been
using DT for almost 2 years and I’m always amazed of the continuous
improvement that you’re performing so far
I’ve a couple of questions regarding the 1.6:
- How to use the new basecurve tool to create basecurve from RAW/JPG pars ?
I didn’t find any indications in the user manual
- Is there a way to participate to your developing effort with a donation?
Also as Christmas is approaching, here is my wish list for future releases
(I understand you have already a full backlog of enhancement requests but,
who knows, you may find my suggestions worth of interest):
- I would really enjoy one module in effect group to add lens flare. Today
I use Gimp to generate such effect but I’m not satisfied with the result. I
understand it’s not in DT philosophy to propose a library of filters and
effects, but adding lens flare is very similar to adding noise, adding
vignette or any other defects generated by a camera
- It may be also convenient for some users to add the counterpart in
correction group to remove adverse lens flare effects (when no hood used on
lens to prevent such default). But I don’t know how complex it could be to
develop such a tool
- And yes please, increase the size of the handles in sliders (I know I’m
not the first one to ask)
