and to install the NVIDIA-....run file w/o sitting and answering the
prompts:
  bash NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-343.22.run -a -q -s

ps: I tend to reinstall the *.run file after any system update which
involves more than just a few packages as I have experienced video
problems when one of the NVIDIA package files was over-written.  Just
better safe than wondering what happened, old-timer's memmory is not what
it was  :^)
