No, thumbnails have all been generated.

I mean the size of the thumbnails. When I have plenty of small 
thumbnails on screen, and hover the mouse over the thumbnails, the one 
under the cursor takes a lot more time to get highlighted (I'd say 
around one second).

CPU: i7-4790K. OpenCL deactivated (the GPU isn't faster than the CPU on 
this machine)
screen resolution: 2560 x 1440
the size when it's worse is when the zoom level slider is at 21. Best at 
1 obviously. By the way I usually use the "file manager" display and not 
the "zoomable light table". The effect is worse with the zoomable light 
table, as dragging the light table has a slow refresh rate (when the 
thumbnails are small).
