Hi yes sure, IFAIK the two permissions we require are user_photos and
publish_stream. I've started the procedure

The other administrator is Jose Carlos Garcia Sogo who did the last work on it
(embeded web server for token retreival).

So, some information are required for the approbation, here is what I've
written so far

Facebook Login Integration

==========================
(Please provide step-by-step instructions in English that show how to access
Facebook Login)

Step 1: install darktable (http://www.darktable.org)
Step 2: load darktable
Step 3: expand "export selected" panel
Step 4: select "facebook webalbum" in "target storage"
Step 6: click "login" button (your browser should open)
Step 7: login with your facebook account and grant permissions to the
application
Step 8: switch back to your application

Please explain how you are using user_photos to enhance a person's in-app
experience
====================================================================================

darktable is an open source photography workflow application and RAW developer.
It contains an export module which allows to upload your photos to facebook
albums directly

(next point is a bit of memory, as I have to test it with a test account and
the patch Jan proposed)

How did you test user_photos? Please give detailed instructions so our review
team can reproduce this permission
================================================================================================================

Step 1: login with your FB user account into darktable
Step 2: choose an existing album or select "create new album"

Step 3 (new album): select visibility (privacy)
Step 4 (new album): enter the album name
Step 5: click export

I have entered the same descriptions for publish_actions

Best regards,

Hi Pierre,
Facebook has deprecated their previous APIs and now requires everyone to
use the 2.x version, apparently. There's one small issue to be fixed [1],
but the bad news are that FB requires manual approval for applications
which request the user_photos permission -- take a look at [2]:

"Active apps created before April 30th, 2014 have one year before they are
required to go through login review, including updates to existing apps.
Facebook apps created after April 30th, 2014 must go through review."

Could you please request this permission and/or comment on the bugreport
[3]? In case you've moved on, who is currently in charge of the Facebook's
Darktable application (the API keys etc)?

With kind regards,
Jan
