Thanks for the sample. if you could also submit it to rawsamples.ch that would be great. The issue here is that with 1.6 we no longer use libraw to load DNGs but use rawspeed instead. Apparently this file uses an unusual prediction direction that the rawspeed code currently doesn't support.
