Hello, I've seen that the panasonic dmc-g7 was just added to camera.xml after the 1.6.7 release. In Germany (and other european countries) the G7 is sold under name G70 (which is also written to the exif data). G7 and G70 are identical except for the name. I manually added the G7 part to my local camera.xml, and after copying the G7 elements to G70 the 'file has unknown format' message is gone. Could someone please also add the G70 to camera.xml ?
It's still missing the color matrix for G7 / G70, though following http://www.darktable.org/2012/10/whats-involved-with-adding-support-for-new-cameras/ it looks like G7 / G70 are too new as even Adobe DNG Converter in the current downloadable version does not support it.
