Please don't do that.  We've just had to delete a 2-years-old entry
in Lensfun that was created with pictures taken at small distance,
which made it unusable for larger distances.  Such errors are very
difficult to detect afterwards.  Use only picture taken at at least
3 metres of distance to the subject!

At the same time, I recommend to upload calibration images at
http://wilson.bronger.org/calibration because this avoids any errors
in the process, and I can check the results for pausability.
Besides, it means less work for you.
