Hi all.

I'm not a skilled DT user. After the migration from adobe software, I
really missed the ability to compare 2 or more images in lighttable.

So few months ago I wrote a patch that I use in my detached branch.

I never pull-requested the patch because I think it's incomplete: there
is no possibility to zoom in (and compare focus things), layout is "so
and so", I created a dt_image_expose_compact from dt_image_expose (read:
more hardcoded layout)
But I see that someone else miss the feature (user mailing list).

The patch lives in lighttable. If I remember well, the "main" collecion
is switched to the "comparable image" collection when I press the "C"
shortcut. The same to came back.

At the moment I'm not planning to improve the patch because I think it
can never be "zoomable in", but maybe I'm wrong.

May be you devs may have a try or read the code and feedback what do
you think and if It's technically possible to have a "zoomable in" image.

Here is the repo, branch "compare"
