Thanks for replying! I have the most recent Xcode installed. But changing compiler worked. Failed on gcc version 5.3.0; compiled successfully (albeit with error messages at same point) with clang-703.0.29.
Still doesn't run on OSX though, but that's a matter for a separate email.
