I have updated the documentation at https://github.com/x9foo/darktable-refcard#how-it-works The section https://github.com/x9foo/darktable-refcard#adding-a-new-language describes the steps needed for adding a new language. I can do the steps 1. - 4. for you if you do not feel comfortable with that. The actual translation work in step 5 is done on a single text file with any plain text editor requiring no LaTeX knowledge.
