Left is definitely pixellated while right is smoothed.

On the left, everything is rendered with 2x2 pixel blocks.

Left looks less blurry but does not actually contain more details that right.

So, it's not that "JPG are blurred".

Temporary diagnostic: pictures aren't displayed 1:1 scale but they are scaled up 2:1, aren't they ?

What software are you using to display JPEG on the right ? Can you ask it to display 1:1 size (pixel-perfect) ?

On the left, are you seeing the RAW file with darkable ? Else with what ? Can you ask it to display 1:1 size (pixel-perfect) ?

Can you share RAW and JPEG files ? It will help make a definite diagnostic.
