About the sunglasses effect. A possible approach may be to take the picture with polarizing filter (if you want) and then use graduated density module - setting compression to 100, hue, saturation and density to your preference and pull the dividing line to the bottom of the image so it actually acts as nd filter. Another approach would be the color balance module - it is also quite flexible. Curves - another good approach.

It is not "automatic" but once you have the result you are looking for it is just a matter of preset.
