By default those modules are enabled that give a more or less usable default 
as you want to sharpen and have some curve in most cases.

Add a new preset in the lens correction module and tick the auto apply 
checkbox. You can also add rules to what kind of images it should be added. 
Make sure to have the module with default settings and not touch anything, 
otherwise auto detection won't work (focal length, lens, camera, …). That's 
currently a limitation of the lens correction module.

The same way you can get rid of the default modules like basecurve: Just add a 
default preset with the module turned off.
