hi,

no idea about mac specifically, but did you check your darktablerc
(wherever that may be on mac), in particular

screen_dpi_overwrite=150
screen_ppd_overwrite=-1.0

these two ^ ? these are my settings for a 3k monitor, set
screen_dpi_overwrite=-1 for the defaults or play with it to suit your
needs.
