Interesting, I have always ignored that module before. This does make color go completely crazy and washed-out, no? I just did a brief monochromatic comparison with the default values and then used a custom tone curve to match the lightness on both images, the noise levels become quite similar. Has anyone tried to tinker with the raw denoise module? The documentation is pretty sparse in the user manual.
