Hi Guys,

I stumbled on an unexpected behavior.

DT 2.2.0 on Ubuntu 16.04

Looks like if I am to apply crop after having a vignette the position of
the vignette will not be preserved - it would move.

It does not look right...
That is the intended behaviour of the vignette module in dt. We decided to
make it an artistic tool rather than a correctional one. And for an artistic
vignette the user expects it to be centered on the image by default, no matter
how he crops. There are cases like yours where you want the vignette to be
placed on a fixed object in the image, but those two modes of operation are
mutually exclusive.
It might be possible to add a switch to the vignette tool to work the other
way but that would require someone to write the code.
I understand... for me vignetting is 95% of the time locked to an object - never to the center because it is always used to emphasize an area of the image. I think I would just use it last if I *absolutely* need to / last resort.
