Hi,
Don't want to hijack the tread... I have Canon 70D and noticed
https://raw.pixls.us/ don't have mRAW and sRAW. Also
http://www.darktable.org/resources/camera-support/ does not indicate if
you guys have them either. Should we consider that if it is not on
raw.pixels.us then it is needed?
Regards,
B

Hello,
I use darktable since several years now with my old camera, a Pentax K5 and
I was always really pleased with the program.
Now I got a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and the imported raw pictures (CR2) are
really distorted, like really heavy image noise.
My friend uses lightroom and the same image imported in Lihtroom looks so
beuautiful - no image noise.
As far as i can tell, lr applies some noise reduction by default. We
don't and won't.
My question ist: Can I somehow support the darktable developers to support
the CR2 format of the camera? Sending you image samples or do something
else, so that I can edit pictures of the camera also with darktable?
Thanks in advance and greetings
Canon EOS 5D Mark IV 'RAW' is fully supported by darktable 2.2
Noise profile for profiled denoise is missing.
See https://www.darktable.org/2012/12/profiling-sensor-and-photon-noise/
Also, **please** consider uploading one RAW, one mRAW and one sRAW to
https://raw.pixls.us/
We need them for regression testing.
mRAW/sRAW is not supported, because i need samples.
Please take one sample per each iso level, including all the sub-iso,
and with high iso extension enabled.
And upload them somewhere like dropbox and give me the link.
Mathias
Roman.
