My Canon G5X isn't recognized by darktable, so the lens distortion module cannot correct the heavy distortions produced at widest angles (24 and 28 mm equivalent). So, after having done everything else in darktable, I'm obliged to use Gimp on the exported TIFF to manually correct the lens distortion.
Question: why darktable wouldn't have such a manual distortion correction module, that allows the user to make any correction he/she wants, whatever the lens is. Not everybody want everything to be automatic, even more when the camera(s)/lens(es) are not (yet) recognized, so automatic correction is impossible. Thanks for considering this addition to darktable.
