Not an exact answer but first you can add "dots" with ctrl+click. Then you "select" one dot hovering the mouse pointer over it and use the arrows to move the point around. Add shift+arrow for fast movements, use ctrl+arrow for fine tuning.
You can quickly design about any shape.
