Hi, I have a desktop with a Radeon RX 460 and an old AMD FX 4300 (overclocked to 4GHz) but I have chances of buying an AMD FX 8350 at a very good price.
The 8350 has the double of cores and double of memory cache (L2 and L3) but almost the same clock speed. I guess I'll obtain a big benefit importing photos (more cores) but it is not a problem for right now. My question, will I be benefited when processing photos? I mean, are processing modules mainly single thread or they take advantage of the cores? Thanks! -- Enviado desde mi tabla de planchar ____________________________________________________________________________ darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
