hi, sigkill (as opposed to sigsegv or sigterm) means usually the OOM killer decided to kill dt due to lack of main memory. can only guess what may be the cause though. maybe processing too many thumbnails in parallel? do you have any particular settings in darktablerc? one super large image? i'd watch dt's mem usage and see whether there is any evidence that there may be a true memory leak or whether some individual jobs just take too much memory for this system.
