did you check the date on the xmp files to see if they had actually changed after your edit session. is there a permissions problem on that particular directory? I frequently work over nfs and cifs drives on older shots I want to display in a different manner, or to export to flickr or facebook. I have never noticed a change not being propagated, but I work on files on different locations rather than suing another instance of dt. I do similar to you when I travel and import/begin processing shots on my laptop and then later transferring to my main workstation and reimporting with re-reading the xmp files. has always worked as expected. gud luk, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode ____________________________________________________________________________ darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
