Hi All,
Hi.

I was checking

https://www.darktable.org/usermanual/en/image_information.html

What are image id, group id, version and flags? Where can I find more
information about them?

I have Image ID in the 120000 range. Does it mean that I have so many
images or I had imported so many images (but currently I don't have them
all - some images are deleted)?
Exactly that. The image id is the internal number assigned to the image. It
starts at 1 (or 0, doesn't matter) and is incremented for every image. The
only time you are interested in that number is when you want to mess with the
database yourself, write Lua scripts or try to decipher some error messages.

The group id is the image id of the group representative, i.e., the image of a
group you see when the group is collapsed. Images that are not grouped have it
set to their image id.

The version is used to distinguish duplicates of images. It's reflected in the
filename of the XMP sidecar.

The flags are telling you some internal states of an image. Hover the label
with your mouse and have a look at the tool tip.
Thank you, this answers everything...

Regards,

Tobias
