I'm struggling to understand the settings in DT concerning the way and
speed thumbs are built and stored.
In Lighttable mode:
First, when I start DT and go to the imported folders and click
Archief03 or Archief03/2018 (which only contains subfolders), thumbs are
already being processed and displayed, although Archief03 and
Archief03/2018 don't have any images, only the subfolders have images.
This slows down the navigating while looking for and opening the folder
I need, in this case Düsseldorf.
Second, when opening such a folder with already edited images, it seems
as if all thumbs are loaded as if they are loaded or imported for the
first time. Importing is even faster. It seems as if all thumbs are
going through all the steps within the history stack before being
displayed. In other programs they show up immediately, so I wonder if
there are soms settings I missed.
