No, I mean, can/should I install that extra package or will that harm the DT database?
I don't why it could, but I just want to make sure :)

Thanks for the help!

When I try to run the first command it says that sqlite3 is not
installed. Ofcourse I can install it, but isn't sqlite part of the DT
install???
On my distribution, there are several packages for sqlite, among them one
containing the libraries used by e.g. darktable (libsqlite3), and one
providing the CLI (sqlite3). Darktable only needs the libsqlite3, so
that's
the one that should be automatically installed. The other isn't needed by
darktable, afaik, and thus should *not* be installed as a darktable
dependency.
By installing the other package by hand? The procedure depends on OS/distro,
but should be familiar.
