Viktor,
Try removing all the images (which exist in a folder) from darktable.
Then, in your system file browser, go and delete (or temporarily move to a
backup folder) the xmp files for those images.
Now re-import those images to darktable.
This will force the recreation of the sidecar files.
The base curve should not be applied.
Cheers,
Bruce Williams.

Subject: [darktable-user] Unable to disable base curve module when opening
new photos
To: darktable-user <[email protected]>

Context: Linux Ubuntu 18.04, Darktable 2.6.2

In configuration -> Core options I deselected "auto-apply per camera
basecurve presets".

Nonetheless when I select a new folder of raw pictures I find the module
activated invariably in each image in darkroom.

The same happens when in lighttable I discard the history stacks from
selected pictures and reopen one of them in darkroom. That base curve
module is always there.

Why is that and how can I avoid this automatic behavior of darktable?

Ciao

Vittorio
