I'm using 2.6.2 on OSX Mojave. I use Fuji cameras, and shoot RAW (RAF)
+ JPG, which transfer to a folder hierarchy and import to darktable.
The hierarchy currently has 24593 image files, organised by year and
date. The pairs of RAF and JPG files display in lighttable, and I can
filter using %.raf or %.jpg

However, the RAF files have suddenly disappeared from lighttable. By
this, I mean that although the actual files are present in my folder
hierarchy, I can no longer see any of the RAF files in lighttable. If
I chose a folder from my folder hierarchy in 'collect images', only
the JPG files display; and if I filter on filename=%.raf, lighttable
says "there are no images in this collection", even thought the folder
in the 'collect images' panel shows the correct number of RAF files.

I've tried restoring earlier versions of .config/darktable from
backups, on the hypothesis that this is a database problem; but this
does not fix the issue. And I've tried reinstalling darktable, also
without success.

I'm out of ideas, so I'd be very grateful if anyone with a greater
understanding of dt than I have could offer suggestions how I might
fix this problem.
