Hello,

I made a custom Dartable noise profile for Nikon D40X in 2017 (2 years ago) and did not use Darktable since that time until today. Today I used it for real noise reduction for the first time. It seems to work well enough, but I'm not an expert.

First a question: how to always have this profile available in Darktable? I only know about running darktable as: $ darktable --noiseprofiles "path/to/presets.json" Is there a simpler way that adding "--noiseprofiles <...>" to CLI arguements?

Now, my profile for Nikon D40X. This URL [0] contains some downloadable material: [0]: http://do1.nixtux.ru/download/darktable/ [1] dt-noiseprofile-20170501.tar.gz - noise profile (Nikon D40X; if you like it, feel free to include it into upstream if needed) [2] DSC_0131 - DSC_0132.tif (is an HDR, combined DSC_0131.JPG and DSC_0132.JPG in Hugin) [3] DSC_0131 - DSC_0132.tif.xmp - that HDR edited in Darktable [4] DSC_0131 - DSC_0132.jpg - exported from Darktable, it contains easily seen noise, e.g. on trees trunks, I did not apply this noise profile
