I can confirm, that amdgpu-pro's opencl part works (clinfo,
darktable-cltest) fine on Manjaro, with AUR enabled. Latest download and
fresh install of Manjaro Gnome, Linux 5.2, then:

pamac build opencl-amd

Yes, ROCm with Ubuntu (github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/ROCm). Can be built
from source too.
