Hi, When changing the filter in lighttable, the displayed image changes: the focus stays on the same position in the collection, not on the same image (this image is still in the new collection). It then take time to find and go back to this previous image.
Example with a 100 images collection (img_001 img_100), in file manager mode. Starting point: no filter on the rating (all), img_030 image is selected (#30 on 100), it has a 3-star rating. Filtrer change: >=3 stars In full preview (only one image displayed): when applying the filter, the selected/displayed image changes : it is now img_050, which is the new #30 image. Same example, except there are now several images displayed. The behaviour is slightly different: - the img_030 image stays selected (it is now #10), - however, this image is not shown on the visible part of the lighttable anymore: where the img_030 (ex-#30 image) used to be, is now displayed img_050 (which is the new #30 image). I am using 2.6.2 but what I describe is not new, I think it is like this since I started using darktable a few years back. Can anyone confirm it is the normal behaviour? Could it be changed and should I open an entry on redmine?
