Hi all,
great job creating Darktable. I really like the ability to localise
adjustments using masks. I like the way the gradient, ellipse and circle shapes
can be created, modified and previewed. However, the brush is a bit
disappointing and leaves room for improvement. I would like the brush to
perform similar to Lightroom's adjustment brush. Specifically I would like to
be able to release the mouse and not have the brush stroke finalised. I would
also like to be able to erase some of the brush stroke before it is finalised.
Lightroom do this by turning the brush into an eraser if the Alt key is held
down on a Windows computer. I would also like to be able to preview the effect
which happens with the circle, ellipse and gradient tool but not the brush.
Hope that the brush can be improved in future versions.
