Some of you might know the answer to this question:

Is there any way to tweak a raw image file (RAF and NEF in my case) so that by
default (or ‘automatically’) the orientation is different?

Sometimes when I am ‘scan’-copying negatives or music scores I get the
orientation upside down, so all of the previews in file managers are upside
down.

Obviously I can rotate the images in Darktable or similar program, but that
leaves the original in an incorrect state.

I tried snooping around in raw files with a hex editor, but I didn’t see
anything that was helpful.

Thanks!
Myron
