It creates a subdirectory under the original folder for the input file,
called “DT2” (in this example). It exports to the original filename
with a “-2” appended to it to avoid conflicts (I use -2 and -2 for
different types of processing).

that was it, thank you!
I am not familiar with the concept of "variables", unfortunately; then I
was unsure if storing in the origin folder is supported.
In my workflow, I like having modified pics in the same directory to
keep it at the same place (pic-sequence) as originals.
So, for now, I can use the feature as desired- thank you!
