check your configuration options/settings -> core options
  lighttable "don't use embedded preview ..."  

if checked, your original lighttable image preview will match what you see
in darkroom, otherwise you see what your camera mfg chooses as what the
jpg should look like.

If you prefer the "embedded preview" (almost always) you might as well
shoot jpg's and drive on rather than spend time in dt achieving and image
which depects how you think it should appear.
