To get back the icons underneath the histogram in darkroom:
open darktable preferences then:
- tab GUI options
- section darkroom, 6th line "show search module text entry", at the
richt click on the triangle:
-show both <--------- this entry gives you the icons and the text
search bar
-show groups
-show search text
When you made your choice *restart darktable*.
