Hello all,

I need to apologize on this one. It's the viewing angle that creates the
difference. I have put the 2 windows under each other and there is no
difference if all color profiles are aligned.

Lesson learned for me is to check better.

Sorry for the nuisance.

Marc.

Onderwerp: darktable 3.02 tone/colors misaligned amongst darkroom display
and darkroom preview-display

*after further testing and aligning color profile settings*

Hello,

I am using (learning) darktable 3.02 on Windows 10. With the (recently
introduced) preview window and the darkroom window on the same monitor there
is clear tone/color difference that even can be visibly captured in a screen
shot. (Before, when displaying on separate monitors, I assumed it was a
monitor calibration problem). The exported image has the tone/color of the
preview window image.

Some additional info on color profiles:

darktable input profile is set on: standard color matrix

darktable working profile is set on: linear profoto RGB

output/export/softproof/display/preview-display/histogram color profiles all
on sRGB (web-safe).

What do I need to do to make the color/tone of the image in the darkroom
window reliable ? Or what did I miss ?

Marc.
