I thought I would try out Darktable. I'm running this on a Mac but
might
move to my Linux system later.
One problem. The text is light grey on a darker grey background and in
very tiny in size. It is unreadable on my high-resolution iMac
screen.
How can I change the colors to get more contrast and the size so I
can read
without a magnifying glass? Perhaps there is a config file I can
edit. I
don't see an options control panel.
What version?
In 3.2.1 you can exactly do this:

in my fresh install, the "font size in point" is greyed out
Have you unchecked "use system font size" above the box. If checked,
then of course it is greyed out ... ...
