AMD open source + propietary (to support OpenCL) drivers installation was discussed in pixls.us here <https://discuss.pixls.us/t/using-amd-open-source-and-the-amdgpu-pro-opencl-driver-for-image-processing/6864> [1] I have it installed in this way, automated with a script (it's commented in the thread).
But another user arrived with a much simpler and IMHO better solution[ <https://discuss.pixls.us/t/install-opencl-from-amdgpu-pro-under-ubuntu-non-supported-version/17528/3> 2]: $ amdgpu-pro-install --opencl=legacy,pal --headless --no-dkms Cheers, [1] https://discuss.pixls.us/t/using-amd-open-source-and-the-amdgpu-pro-opencl-driver-for-image-processing/6864 [2] https://discuss.pixls.us/t/install-opencl-from-amdgpu-pro-under-ubuntu-non-supported-version/17528/3 El jue., 1 oct. 2020 a las 18:31, Germano Massullo (< [email protected]>) escribió: > Il 01/10/20 18:23, Peter McD ha scritto: > > Am 01.10.20 um 16:43 schrieb Germano Massullo: > >> AMD RX480 + Fedora user here. > > ... > >> You will get > >> /home/user/amd_opencl/etc/ > >> /home/user/amd_opencl/lib/ > >> /home/user/amd_opencl/opt/ > >> /home/user/amd_opencl/usr/ > >> > >> Then to run darktable > >> OPENCL_VENDOR_PATH=/home/user/amd_opencl/etc/OpenCL/vendors/ > >> LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/user/amd_opencl/opt/amdgpu-pro/lib64/ darktable > >> > > > > You do that from the command line or do you add to > > ./.config/darktable/darktablerc > > Command line > > ____________________________________________________________________________ > darktable user mailing list > to unsubscribe send a mail to > [email protected] > > -- Enviado desde mi tabla de planchar ____________________________________________________________________________ darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
