For all Spanish speakers out there I have an important question for you...

There are several useful sites dedicated to darktable in English and French (like darktable.fr). I haven’t found anything remotely close in Spanish. I would like to create something similar for Spanish speakers. Spanish is the 3 or 4^th most spoken language in the world (depending on how you count it).

So I'm considering the following mission: Create a darktable user community for spanish speaking users

Where? darktable.org.es

I can provide the free hosting, initial set-up and maintenance of the site, but I don’t want it to be mine or anyone's. Instead it should be something built by and for the spanish speaking community, with several volunteer admins managing the site. Community managed, not for profit and open source of course.

On a first thought the site could include the following (this is open for discussion and may change, but all of it in Spanish):

- darktable news (blog style).

- darktable forum for Q&A of using the program or spanish wiki?

- videos or links to videos with tutorials of darktable (maybe a peertube instance?)

- Encourage users to support / collaborate / donate to the darktable developers.

- Anything else we can think of.

Who benefits?

This site will help the spanish speaking darktable users. But I believe this will also help the darktable project in general increasing its number of potencial users.

Finally, the question:

What are your thoughts? Any spanish speaking users out there interested in participating or even just using something like this?

Looking forward to hear your thoughts...
