Hello
Dear Darktable,

I am trying to download the latest update that is available from your site, and
I am stuck with the enclosed unchecked boxes.

Could it be a protective option my end, either way I am unable to download the
latest (I had 3.0 but was asked would I like to
remove previous one in the process of downloading the latest version)

Please help me.

Kindest regards, Dave Stephens

Alongside the main library.db and data.db databases. Prior to darktable 3.4
backups were only made on program upgrade (named "data.db-pre-3.2.1" for
example). Since 3.4 there is also an option to make periodic backups
(snapshots):

Presets should be in the data.db
