I totally agree with Bernhard that we should not discard the original RAW files. Sorry I did not make that important point clear. The DNG conversion is just a temporary fix for unsupported cameras and not the best option in my opinion. I am not sure what is lost in the DNG conversion process but will always keep the out of camera RAW file regardless.
